• We believe that there is only one living and true God, who exists in three distinct persons — God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three, the Trinity, are equal in essence and distinct in function.

    Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

  • The first person of the Trinity orders and directs all things according to His will and purpose. He has created humanity to reflect His image, to be in intimate relationship with Him, and to bring Him glory and honor, through His grace. He is an infinite personal Spirit, perfect in all His attributes, including holiness, wisdom, power, and love.  While He is transcendent, He is also actively involved in His creation — offering an eternal relationship with us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

    Genesis 1-2; Matthew 6:9; John 4:24, 5:19-24, 16:23-28; Ephesians 1:3-6, 17-23; Ephesians 2:1-10

  • Jesus Christ is both the eternal Son of God and virgin-born Son of man.  He is God incarnate, fully God, fully man. His sinless, sacrificial, substitutionary offering on the cross satisfied the Father’s justice, offering atonement for all of humanity’s sins, for all time. We believe in His bodily resurrection, His physical ascension, and His personal visible return from heaven.

    John 1:14-18; Romans 3:21-25; 1 Corinthians 15; Hebrews 1:3; 9:24-28, 10:11-13; Colossians 2:9; Acts 1:6-11; Matthew 24:29-31

  • The third person of the Trinity executes the will of God in this world through humanity, by leading, guiding, filling, teaching, and convicting. The Holy Spirit is not merely an impersonal force, but a person, displaying the qualities of personhood (intellect, emotions, and will). He was sent into the world by the Father and the Son to apply to humankind the saving work of Christ and to glorify Christ.  He equips and empowers believers upon conversion by giving the gifts to be used for the building up of the church, and by bearing fruit through their yielded lives.  The Holy Spirit unites us to Christ, indwells believers as His temple, gives us the spirit of adoption by whom we cry out “Abba, Father,” and fills our hearts with the love of God.

    John 3:1-8; John 14:15-26, 16:5-16; 1 Corinthians 3:16, 12; Galatians 4:4-7, 5:16-25; Romans 5:5, 8:15

NEW HERE ?

It’s never easy to visit a church for the first time, so we do everything we can to make that experience a good one. You can expect to be greeted by some warm, welcoming faces when you arrive and also during our ‘meet & greet’ time.

Below are answers to a couple of common questions people have. If you still have questions, feel free to email us at info@revivecov.church

We hope you will come and visit us soon!

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

Our Sunday services start at 10am and can go for about two hours. You can expect an engaging Christ-centered message based on the truth of God’s Word, followed by extended worship time (led by highly anointed, sensitive to the Spirit, and skilled worship leaders) where we encounter the presence and the power of the Holy Spirit.

We highly value the Christ-centered preaching of God’s Word and allowing space for the Holy Spirit to do His transformative and healing work in our hearts and lives.  If you are hungry for more in your spiritual life and a deeper experience of God in worship we might be a church you’d like to check out!

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO?

Nothing! Just come and visit. If you are a guest, please do not feel any pressure or obligation to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attendees, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work He is doing in their lives and to give back to help continue the work of the church.
