gleanings for the hungry

As a ministry of Youth With A Mission, our mission is to feed the hungry of the world, both physically and spiritually. A large part of fulfilling our mission is the procurement and production of shelf-stable food. We are a destination for all ages to come and volunteer, working together for eternal impact in a hurting world. Everything we produce is given free of charge to partner ministries around the world, to be distributed in impoverished areas, with the love of Jesus.

Chaplain Rick is on staff with Pacific Youth Correctional Ministries and serves as the Supervising Chaplain at the Orange County Probation Facilities (Juvenile Hall, Youth Leadership Academy, Youth Guidance Center).  He leads weekly church services, Bible studies and meets one-on-one with youth requesting Biblical counseling and discipleship.

Shane Davis serves witih Circuit Riders, a Youth With a Mission organization geared towards igniting evangelism, worship and discipleship movement all across the world!  Shane is ministering to the countries of Eastern Europe, reaching young people from Estonia to Greece, all with the goal of revival in these countries!

We are also blessed to support a cross-cultural missionary family who, due to security concerns, cannot be named. They serve among the Somali Muslim diaspora here in the US.  Their ambition is to see the Gospel proclaimed, disciples made, and churches established among this unreached people group.
